Holiday Home Guests
Guests book directly with us time and time again as we have a unique collection of holiday homes DownSouth, to suit every budget. We’ve got over 10 years experience of working with fully managed holiday homes, and during that time we have grown to the in’s & out’s of holiday home management in the South West. And we’re super proud of the fact we’re Australian owned and operated!
Our dedicated team of local holiday managers are what make the DownSouth experience unique. This includes making sure your chosen holiday home is prepared for your arrival, helping your group get settled into your home and even giving local advice such as the best spot for a coffee in the morning. Our instant online booking and wonderful guest support team means booking through us is a stress-free way to find your happy place.
You can book with us directly online through the DownSouth website using your Visa or Mastercard. All we ask for is to pay a 20% deposit at the time of booking, and the remaining payment to be processed closer to the time of your holiday. (See terms and conditions for the exact timing of the final payment).
You’re safe with us – the DownSouth website is fully secure and encrypted, so your private information and credit card details are safe when you book. DownSouth Holiday Homes does not store any of your credit card details. All monies received are held in a Trust account with a major Australian bank.
We understand the frustration that extra outlay can cause and are fanatical about providing a great experience for you, right from when you’re browsing and booking on our site! We place a hold on your card in place of a bond just in case something occurs during your stay, however in most cases doesn’t but we’ll inform if that is the case & we ask the same if anything comes up as well.
Your local holiday manager will make sure the holiday home is ready for your arrival.
Cleaning is included in the rental of the property. We ask that the home is left in similar condition as you found it in. Your local holiday manager will help out with any details and a cleaning checklist!

DownSouth Holiday Homes is on hand for you & guests, 365 days a year. Our reservations experts screen every one of your bookings, handle payments and secure guest bookings. We offer a specialised owner portal for viewing of all upcoming & previous guests bookings.
Our locally based Holiday Managers are there to look after, care for, and maintain your property when you are not there, providing you with services such as maintenance, storm checks, or taking deliveries. Our Holiday Managers care for your property pre-arrival, during the guests’ stay and after the guests leave. Whether you’re renting your home to maximise your income or just want to earn a bit of extra cash to cover expenses, you deserve the best return you can get from your property.
Our friendly Holiday Managers live in your holiday home community. They are available for each guest at all different parts of the day, ensuring your house is well looked after. The Holiday Manager is available to clean the property and can organise and oversee any maintenance or repairs that are required on the property. The Holiday Manger keeps a watchful eye on your property when it is not in use.
Your Holiday Manager (in areas where a holiday manager is present) prepares your property for the guests’ arrival, and cleans the property after the guests leave, if required. We ask that guests leave the property in the same condition they found it in. If any cleaning needs to be done after guests’ departure, the Holiday Manager undertakes the clean.
